Llanrwst councillor thanks teachers for 'dedication to students during Covid'

A Conwy councillor has paid tribute to the county's devoted teachers and school staff.

Llanrwst councillor, Aaron Wynne, says that "Conwy students are very lucky to have such dedicated teachers" following over a year of uncertainty at school.

The young councillor thanked teachers for their commitment and for never wavering in their dedication to pupils.

Cllr Aaron Wynne said;

"In light of the end of the school year I would like to highlight the amazing work that has happened across Conwy throughout the pandemic.

"I want to thank our wonderful teachers and educational staff who have worked so hard to continue to provide education to our children and young people during such a difficult time.

"From straddling new Coronavirus rules to teaching students from home, our teachers' dedication to their students is unwavering.

"I want to thank head teachers, school leaders, teachers, teaching assistants, and all support staff such as lunchtime supervisors, caretakers and cleaners – the entire school team – for their work during the pandemic.

"Diolch!"
